This manuscript is dedicated to George and Jo D. Andrews and celebrates Cranbury residents from a bygone era, especially the members and supporters of the Cranbury Historical and Preservation Society (CHPS), who played a vital part in preserving the township’s unique historic and environmental treasures for future generations.

Thanks to their tireless efforts and dedication, Cranbury residents established a museum and preserved many landmarks, artifacts, farmland, and wilderness. They have documented Cranbury’s preservation efforts and highlighted the urgent need to maintain its village character, Colonial New Jersey charm, open spaces, and wildlife habitat that attracted exceptional families to settle here, like the Andrews and so many others. ‍ ‍

Hello Friends, Readers, and Country-men and women. Lend me your ears!

This post will host my ramblings as they occur.

I won’t complain here, but today I will. It seems that the business of writing has become top heavy and requires those of us compelled to write to hire agents, proof readers, editors, publishers, and business managers, and accountants (these last two are important and hopefully will earn their keep, or figure a way for me to keep writing). It seems that market forces are doing everything they can to distract us from our craft and focus more on social media postings, likes, banter, and what have you. All I wanna do is write and drink good coffee.

I’m new at what you see here, but I’ve been writing for many years, mostly about technical strategies, software development, strategic planning and enterprise architecture, capital planning and investment control, requirements engineering, capability development, transition planning, data science, networking, communications…you get the drift. I’ve left that world and circled back to complete my elementary school summer reading lists that’s still a work in progress.

Currently, I’m advocating for the environment, wildlife, common sense, and ethical behavior; and will bundle whatever I discover that lies over the rainbow into a compelling story.
